New releases of fantasy and science fiction for teenagers and kids--the beginning of June, 2010 edition

Here are the new releases of science fiction and fantasy for children and teenagers from the beginning of June. This time, just to be fair, I started at the bottom and worked up with the pictures, getting as far as I could stand before giving up....(and I have given up trying to tease blogger into letting me format the blurbs with pictures into neat rows. I was so hopeful when I discovered the html for paragraph breaks, but it didn't help appreciably).

Blurbs from the publishers, list from Teens Read Too.

I have a couple of these on hand in the waiting-to-be-reviewed pile...and I've just added some to my Amazon shopping cart, like the new Nathaniel Fludd book (for my oldest), and House of Dolls (for me, because I like doll house books). And YA-wise, Everlasting looks great, and The Sorcerer of Sainte Felice sounds very nice also...Which ones do you want?

  3. After reading the summary, I am going to check out Wolven.

Sisters Red is set in Atlanta, where I live. The author dropped in to sign her books. Of course I missed her. I miss every one. I've also missed Melissa Marr and Lauren Myracle

Luckily many of my co workers read YA. One of these coworkers got to talk to Pearce for a second and so far she is really enjoying Sisters Red.

uh oh Charlotte - that's the wrong My Soul to Keep cover. Though I am always more than happy to see the Due cover. I love that vampire series.

    Thanks for the round up

  6. Despite my repeated requests to be included in your new releases postings; in regards to Shadow Demon of Oz, you have refused to include my latest work on your website. Have I offended you in some way?

  7. Repeated? You mentioned the release of your new book in one comment, on a middle grade fiction round up post, in which I never mention new releases.

To that one comment I did indeed reply that I would include it a new releases post, and I do apologize for having neglected to do so.

If in future you ever wish to contact anyone about a similar issue, I'd suggest sending an email--comments disappear as the blog marches on, but emails remain front and center longer.
