Very thought provoking review! It's a shame that Atwood shuns being labeled sci-fi. So much of her work is speculative. As it's a semi-review of Oryx and Crake I'll have to read that first...when I'm feeling strong.
I did my best to read Oryx and Crake, but I just couldn't care about them...this one sounds like I might have a better shot at liking, what with the gardening, but still, it's daunting!
