Charlotte, did you see the pieces by Walter Dean Myers and son Christopher Myers in the New York Times today? They're frontpaged on the website, righthand side. They both address different aspects of the issues we've discussed before... both the paucity of black protagonists, and the limited storylines available to those who do exist.
