and not mg sff related, but I wanted to say happy book birthday to Serena Says, by Tanita Davis! (Tanita is the first, and so far only, internet friend I've invited to stay at my house (actually it was mother's house) without having met them. It was a truly lovely visit.)
It's interesting to make friends on the internet. I took my grandkids to Colorado a couple years ago, and Greg Pattridge of MMGM fame, whom I had never met, became a wonderful tour guide to a Rockies game and invited us all to a beautiful lunch at his home. The internet is a wonderful place. Thanks for the post and congratulations to Tanita.
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely story! I've since met a number of bloggers in person, and feel greatly enriched.
DeleteAw, thank you!
ReplyDeleteAnd you remain the first Internet friend from Rhode Island that I have!
